So the idea for my clan is that when the kits are born, the parents give them basic names, like Flower or Dust or River, then, when the kits become apprentices they choose if they want a clan or tribe name, and the leader goes from there. \
Apprentice Ex:
*Rose wants to have a clan name. So she becomes Rosepaw.
**Cloud wants to have a tribe name, so the leader names him from his best physical characteristics and puts it in front of the base name [cloud] and names him Quiet Cloud.
Warrior Ex:
*Rosepaw chooses that she wants a Tribe name at her warrior naming ceremony after she is told she will become Roseclaw, and the leader makes her Rose of the Claw.
** Quiet Cloud still wants his Tribe name, so the leader then puts his best personality trait after his base name, so he becomes Quiet Cloud the Wise.
OR
**Quiet Cloud decides he wants to have a clan name for his warrior name, so he becomes Quietcloud.
Is it too complicated?

I like both the ideas, but it is little complicated, I would go with one or the other.
