"For one," Cyprian told her, "there will be a sort of marriage ceremony. I will say my vows, which I will write, and you will say the vows you write. My father will anoint our mating and then, when we have privacy, I will bite you to seal your lifeline to mine." He closed his eyes for a moment. "My gaelach, I have to go soon. I was only given an hour and a half with you, per Challenge rules. The alpha who claimed you will come see you tomorrow. I am but a thought away, little one."

Ember nodded, she didn't want him to go. She only just got him. "Kiss me."she murmured but than she grew nervous. She only kissed one other boy and that was Jason.

Cyprian growled as the name Jason drifted through Ember's mind. "Do try and keep that Jason from your thoughts," he murmured, before he kissed his mate. It was a soft kiss, tender and full of affection and love.

"I have to," Cyprian murmured. "If I don't, I forfeit the Challenge." He shifted so that he was standing and placed Ember on the bed. "I will always be close." He placed another kiss on Ember's lips before resting his forehead against hers for a moment, breathing in her scent. "I swear to you that I will never let you go, my gaelach. I will win this Challenge." With that, Cyprian was gone.

Elora eyed her friend carefully. "Trouble in paradise?" she guessed. Despite her goofy demeanor, Elora was fiercely protective and loyal to Ember and would do anything in her power to keep Ember happy and safe, even if it meant kicking some furry wolf butt.
Corrigan and his mate stepped off the plane and into the waiting SUV, followed closely by Alasdair. He'd already called his son and informed him that the pack was on the way; Alasdair and Dax would be staying in Ember's house as protection, despite Cyprian's frustration at males near his mate. When all the Canis Lupis were in the cars, the blacked out SUVs rolled off the tarmac and thundered towards Ember's home.

"Several things," Alasdair commented dryly, "and one of them includes your death at Cyprian's hands if you flirt with his mate." He raised a single eyebrow, eyeing Dax for a moment before he returned his attention to the horizon. His glittering eyes searched for any sign of danger, for any threat; he was always alert. It was what made him a good Beta.

Dax snorted,"That pup could try."he teased the young prince that was lproabbly already on edge.. He in fact, felt close to young prince. He thought of him as a younger brother and he would do whatever it took to keep him and his alpha safe.

"He certainly would succeed," Alasdair chuckled. "You forget that he is the son of the strongest Alpha in the last few centuries. He would wipe the floor with your ass, little pup." The SUVs suddenly lurched to the curb and parked. In an instant, Alasdair had left the car and moved to Corrigan's vehicle, senses alert for any sign of a threat.
