Ember laughed as her mind cleared of everything, the haziness, the doubt, even the weird yearning, well that was still there just in the back of her mind. A smile took over her features, she had found her mate. Her smile vanished though as she realized what would happen to her people and that he had intended to use her. Hurt flickered in her gaze and than anger. She had found her mate, but lost everything because of him. Her now permeant wings unfurled as she got to her feet. She didn't know what was going to happen, she just knew her people were endanger of extinction now. Her brother would take over and everything would go to hell. Or atleast she thought.
Lol how does she always end up with a mate? XD I wanted her to have a love triangle...welll that plan worked out.. not xD

Kayrin snarled something unintelligible, spinning and slamming his fist into the cave wall. He cursed, shaking his broken hand as it begun to heal. "Dammit!" he spat. "I do everything I can to further my people, and lose my mate in the process." He dropped onto the couch, burying his face in his hands. "I received a prophecy, Ember, that the Schimba would be the ruin or grace of my people. I did not know what it meant, and I was scared. The prophecy said the next in line would either be my salvation, or my downfall." He looked up, black eyes dark with hurt and sorrow. "I didn't know what to do..."

Bree whipped around to face Doru, and her eyes slowly narrowed in an unamused look. 'Well, what am I then? I thought you said I was one of you...if you were the one I talked to earlier..." She paused, thin eyebrows furrowing thoughtfully. "How do you know I want to lookfor the place anyway?" She asked warily, eyes narrowing further.
After cleaning up the shop, Devin shut it down early. He sighed as hr ran his hands through his hair, trying to make it look presentable. He shrugged to himself, gaze flickering to the woods. It was quite and peaceful. Better than here at least. He quickly made his way over to the wooded landf, steps long and purposeful. He eventually made ITF there and slipped into the treeline.
