Occupation:      Racehorse Jockey and Exercise Rider

Sexual Orientation:     Straight and Single

Appearance: Magnus stands at 5'3" and weighs 115 pounds, though his weight does fluctuate. He has tanned skin due to his Hispanic heritage that goes along with his dark hair and eyes. He has noticeable dimples when he smiles and often has faint stubble, rarely opting to let himself grow a mustache. He feels that a mustache would make him look less neat. He keeps his dark hair relatively short and sometimes gels it up on the days that he's not riding, or for special occasions. Magnus has some surgical scarring on his right shoulder blade. One of his canine teeth is broken, which can be seen when he smiles and shows teeth. He has a tendency to wear jeans and a hoodie, even in the dead of summer. He claims that he's not bothered by temperatures at all.

Personality:    It could easily be said that Magnus is an introvert. He seems to enjoy being left alone, though he will socialize and carry a conversation if he must. He prefers to avoid the crowds and aside from preferring to be alone, is actually quite shy, even among people he knows. He is better suited to hovering in the background, laughing if there's a reason to but not saying the jokes himself. He may warm up to a small group of people. so long as he can divert attention off of himself when it all becomes too much.

Likes:      Cleanliness, being left alone

Dislikes: Germs, gossip, hugging, shaking hands

Strengths: Magnus is extremely loyal when it comes to those that he trusts and will do anything in his power to help said friends, though it takes forever to reach that point in a friendship given how private he is.

Weaknesses: Magnus has an old fracture in his shoulder plate from a fall at nine years old. As a result, he has reduced mobility in his right shoulder. Often times, after any sort of fall from a horse, he has a hard time relaxing in the saddle. It may take months after a fall for him to return to his attitude prior to the fall.

Fears: Darkness, Germs

Habits: He tends to bite his nails and is a certified clean freak. He'll clean up messes that aren't his and spend his own time to organize anything he sees fit. This isn't to say that he's OCD, though. It's not an overwhelming compulsion for him.

History: Magnus started riding horses at six years of age but stopped riding when he was nine both because he had a bad fall and because his friends began to tease him. The fear of falling again kept him from getting back in the saddle and the chance of being made fun of caused him to later scorn horses and participate in sports instead. At sixteen years of age, he began to work at a nearby stable and returned to riding. He moved out of his house at eighteen to live with a friend while he began to work his way through college. After only two semesters, Magnus dropped out of college and began to work full time at a racetrack, where he soon began to exercise racehorses. He has since taken out his jockey license. When he was nineteen, he was thrown off of his mount’s back in the paddock and suffered a dislocated shoulder that eventually required surgery. He underwent physical therapy before returning to racing. He still experiences pain now and then, but has learned to manage this. He decided to take a job at Cross Thoroughbred Racing Facility in order to gain a few mounts in the local area.
