Coal was hit by a car yesterday, early in the morning. It's hitting me pretty hard, it's actually scaring me. I didn't go to school today for the sake of crying in front of everyone, and I cancelled my plans this weekend so I can help my dad finish fixing the fence work where they got out. God, it hurts.

Gracie's okay. I was told she was there when Coal was hit, and that the guy thought he had hit her too, but she ran off and came home. She's fine, just spooked and lonely. I'm proud of her. She went through a lot...

I don't know what to do. I hate having all these decisions to make. My dad said when I'm ready, I can decide what I want to do. Get a new horse, keep Gracie. He told me its best we only have one horse. I don't know how I'm going to decide. Frankly, I'm not even worried about that right now. I just want my baby back...

SPCA offered to bury him out there to make it easier on us, and they're not charging us any.

I have a lot of healing to do.

Wow....I'm so sorry Leo...After I heard this I felt so upset for you.....I remember when my parrot died and I was physically unable to move or think because of grief, and I hope upon hopes that you are faring with this.

My life is probably a million times more stressful, unbearable, depressing and just pointless by this point. But I'm going to get through.

This was just so unexpected, I guess I took him a little too much for granted. I never really thought about something like this happening, I guess I tried to avoid the subject as much as possible before.
