"I know. I think custody of Charlie really would help him. He needs something to look forward to. God, he loves that baby more than life. We all know that." Jessie said, smiling at the toddler.

Sadie watched Fay carefully, nodding as she talked, before glancing at the floor, studying the tips of her shoes. She glanced back up, taking a moment as she tried to piece together what she was going to say. "I knew..." She trailed off, eyebrows furrowing. She didn't feel like explaining that she hadn't taken action against his bulimia, because frankly, she had eating issues as well, and it wasn't just because of racing. She shrugged the thought away before continuing. "I know I need to talk to him, Jess. It's just a lot easier said than done." She said, brow furrowed. "I just... I feel like this is my mess to clean up, in a sense, I... I don't know how to though." She looked worried, concern flickering in her tired eyes. "If... If he really is this messed up, than forcing him won't help. Forcing him into anything never works." She sighed, nodding at Fay's last comment before rubbing her forehead. She just didn't know what to do. Sadie studied Jessie as she spoke, and she nodded in agreement. That was mainly why she had granted the option for custody. She just didn't want to see him through the opportunity away.

Fay hummed in agreement with both women. "We've all, in a way, been responsible for letting things get this far. He's stubborn as hell, but we're going to change things. Yeah, he is going to need professional help, but we gotta let him know that we at least care. That's something that he didn't really have growing up." She commented. Out of the three of them standing around, she knew Adam's father the best, and frankly, she couldn't stand the man outside of racing. He was fantastic at his job, but he had never amounted to a thing as a parent. "Anyway, um...if we're not busy today, should we just have...kind of a girls' day? We could do like a picnic or something with Charlie and Zoey if you want...I'm sure that'd be fun..." She suggested, trying to at least bring something good in finally.

Sadie nodded in agreement, her eyes on her daughter before she chewed on her lip again. She checked her phone, she had a race at Cedar Downs later today, but she had time to spare. "Yeah, sure. I got a race later today, but it's a night one. I've got a few hours to burn." She spoke quietly, her voice level, almost guarded. Quite honestly, she just wanted to leave. Being at Cross was making her broken heart just that much worse. Though, no on would know. She hid those feelings deep.

I mean, we can do more multiple person RP but....I mean, either barge in on Adam sleeping in his room or maybe she somehow ends up at the practice track exercising one of her horses or she decides to jump in on Fay, Sadie, and Jessie gossiping in the kitchen? That's all I can offer at the moment.]
