Jessica, or Jessie as everyone else calls her, is the redheaded medic for the facility and is twenty two years old. She is probably the shortest person at the facility, which is strange since most everyone is a jockey. She is about 5'1 and weighs around eighty-five pounds. Jessie has light skin that is creamy soft like a baby's and pale as well. She has no freckles at all, which is odd for a ginger, and her skin is free of blemish or stray mark, except for the stretch marks from being pregnant. She has a pair of big, icy blue eyes ringed by dark lashes. It's strange that her hair is red, yet her lashes are a dark brown. Her eyes are so light blue, it almost hurts to look at them. It she glares at you, it's almost as you can feel all warmth leave your soul. When she smiles, you can see all the happiness and love she posses reflect back at you. She has stunning long, curly, scarlet colored hair. It's like her hair is made of velvet ribbons. Her hair is silky and soft and if you pull one of her ringlets out to full length then let it go, it will eagerly spring back then settle into it's normal form of a loose coil. Jessie is half Scottish, which is most likely why her hair is so vibrant, and has a tinge of an accent, but it is clearly hear when she is mad for she starts talking in fluent Gaelic. Jessie also has Attention Defisit Disorder, so she gets distracted very easily and it's hard for her to concentrate.

Jessie is a spitfire and a mom rolled into one. She is very caring, motherly, sweet, and protective when it comes to her patients at the facility and her daughter, Zoey. She tries to take care of anyone she thinks needs help, whether they actually do or not. She's also got a temper on her, though it doesn't come out very often. She can get meaner than a mother bear if you push her buttons. She use to be a big skater girl and tomboy, having grown up with three big brothers and she actually has a few trophies in the infirmary on a shelf from a few competitions she participated in when she was a few years younger. She doesn't have much free time to skate board anymore, but keep her board under her desk and rolls it around with her feet while doing paper work.

Jessie's mother is a native from Scotland and had come to America when she was a teenager. She married a young man in the army, got pregnant and had three boys, then had little Jessie. Jessie grew up in Miami, followed around her older brothers, learned to skateboard and surf, then was shipped off to her dad's parents farm in central Florida to help her grandmother. She was 7. When she was 11 she found out her father had died after a bombing. She had been a daddy's girl, but was strong at the funeral. She wore a black dress, her father's army green hat, and saluted the captain of his troop when he said how sorry he was to the family. She then returned to the farm to help her grandfather handle a few new calves.
Jessie was home schooled, her grandmother being a retired school teacher. After 'graduating' Jessie went to nursing school, got her Registered Nurse degree and her Emergency Nurse degree, then got her Registered Medical Practitioner two years later.

A new chapter in Jessie's life began when she was raped at seventeen years old while visiting her mother in Miami. She never saw the attacker, and the police never found him. Eight months later little Zoey was born. She grew up with the help up Jessie's family, and then after Jessie moved to Cross, with the help of her family at Cross.

Extra Facts;

Likes -
Jessie loves draft horses, which is odd when you compare the large horses to her tiny stature. She also likes going to watch her friends race, though it's mostly incase one of them falls off of their horse or gets injured.


Dislikes -
Jessie isn't a fan of racing, she personally thinks it is way too dangerous. She also hates bugs of any sort and dislikes sour candy.


Strengths -
Jessie is very stubborn. It's her way or the highway. She is also very kind, but can still be stern. She is very motherly to her patients and will do anything in her power to help them. Jessie is extremely protective; She's protective over her daughter, her friends, her family, and anyone she thinks needs her protecting.


Weaknesses -
Jessie has ADD, so it's hard for her to focus and stay on task. She can also be forgetful at times and tends to freak out a bit when she is very stressed.


Fears -
Jessie is extremely scared of bugs, but mostly spiders. She also has a fear of lightning.


Habits -
Jessie seems to always bounce her foot or wiggle in her chair or tap her nails on her desk. It's like she can't really sit still. She also has a habit of raking her hand through her hair when she's stressed out over something. Another habit is that she puffs out her cheeks when she's mad, as if she's holding in all of the angry hot air.
