Pixie is a rather playful mare. She loves romping around with Zoey in the pasture and happily goes where ever Zoey does. She is very sweet, never known to bite or kick or any other hateful thing. She is very calm and patient, an amazing beginner's horse. She can be stubborn sometimes, often when she her food bucket needs filling or her hay net is empty. She considers herself Zoey's best friend, assistant in trouble making, and protector all in one. She keeps an eye on the teenager and makes sure Zoey is always safe when she is with her. She is careful with her riders, making sure she doesn't stumble or lose her footing. She will let nearly anyone ride her, but it is clear that Zoey is her favorite person. She is content doing almost anything, but is scared of water. Zoey is currently working with her to overcome this fear in time for the summer jumping competitions that they enter.
Pixie was born and raised on local tourist farm, so she was use to humans and odd noises since she was a little foal. When she was a yearling, she was sold after the elderly owner of the farm passed away from a sudden heart attack. She was sold and auctioned off several times before finally being bought by Jessica Clark. Jessie gave Pixie to her daughter, Zoey, as a present for her tenth birthday. The two have entered a few jumping competitions the past few summers and have started collecting ribbons that they have won, which has included several blue ribbons and one first place trophy.
